FO present inspired by Plumpudding

http://myplumpudding.blogspot.com/ had a great little post on how to make a home sewn gift that uses the handprints of your children. I loved the idea and made this (over time) for a special someone to open at Christmas. The large hand is E's and the small one J's. The words were made with letter cubes from the craft store. Karl helped me come up with a slightly cheesy but sincere bit to place in the space left at the bottom :

I was also inspired by Plum Pudding, and I love how your's turned out. I really like the letter buttons spelling out a message at the bottom. What a nice adaptation. I turned mine into a pillow ornament. http://katiesnestingspot.blogspot.com/2008/12/handstitched-ornaments.html
